It is used as the raw material for producing potassium nitrate, mining explosive and picric acid; as nitrification agent for producing dye intermediates; as antifoaming agent, discoloring agent, clearing agent and oxidation flux tin glass industry.
Property:
Colorless transparent or white tinged with yellow rhombic crystal, with density of 2.257 (20℃), bitter and salty in taste, slightly soluble in glycerol and ethanol, very deliquescent and much easier with small amount of sodium chloride.
